Rome By Air (5 Days)

Airport departures from Liverpool, Luton, Leeds Bradford, East Midlands, Manchester and London Stansted.

Day 1
Flight to Rome from your local airport. Coach transfer to our Rome hotel. Today is a free day at your own leisure. Half board commences with dinner this evening.

Day 2
After breakfast, we will visit St. Peter's Basilica and the tombs of the Pope's, including the resting place of Pope John Paul II. In the afternoon we will have a group photograph followed by Holy Mass.

We return to our hotel for dinner this evening. After dinner, we have an optional coach tour of "Rome by Night" taking in the major sights of the eternal city and includes a visit to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. An English speaking Italian guide will accompany us to enhance your enjoyment of this wonderful tour.

Day 3
After breakfast we go to St. Peter's and attend the Papal Audience (subject to the Holy Father being in Rome). In the afternoon our coach will pick us up for an included tour of the Major Basilica's of Rome. St. John Lateran, St Paul's outside the walls and St Mary Major, before returning to our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 4
After breakfast, we have a free day in Rome to explore the "Eternal City" at your leisure. Alternatively, we can go on a full day optional excursion to Assisi. Dinner provided.

Day 5
After breakfast our coach transfers us to the Airport for the return flight.
