Day 1/2 Morning departure to the port of Dover, Channel crossing to Calais. Continue our journey through the night via France and Switzerland. Arrive late afternoon on Day two for 4 nights bed and breakfast in Rome. Day 3 After breakfast we go to St. Peter's and attend the Papal Audience (subject to the Holy Father being in Rome). In the afternoon our coach will pick us up for an included tour of the Major Basilica's of Rome, St. John Lateran, St Paul's outside the walls and St Mary Major. Day 4 Full day excursion to Assisi visiting the Basilica of St. Clare. Mass will be arranged in St. Fancis' Basilica in the afternoon. At 4.00 pm we depart Assisi to visit the church of St. Mary d'Angeli, the site where St. Francis died. Return for dinner. Day 5 Celebrate Sunday Mass in St. Peter's Square. The afternoon is free for shopping or sightseeing. Day 6/7 After breakfast depart for the return journey to the UK, returning to departure points late afternoon / evening of Day Seven.
